CRASH MY WEDDING EVENT PUTS FRESH SPIN
ON THE TRADITIONAL BRIDAL FAIR
Engaged couples see professional services and products
in action at staged wedding and reception
BETHLEHEM, PA – May 10, 2011 – Gone are the boring rows of tables with fancy displays by vendors selling their wedding-related services and products. At this bridal show attendees visit the wedding venue, eat its food, see the tuxedos in person, witness the ceremony, and dance to the DJ.
The Crash My Wedding bridal event on Sunday, May 22 from 2 – 7 p.m. at the Founders Hall at the Portuguese American Club in Bethlehem gives engaged couples a first-hand look at what their wedding might be like since it is a staged wedding and reception from start to finish. Wedding planning experts narrate the event offering professional advice and insight into each element from their perspective.
Doors open at 1 p.m. with the ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. followed by cocktails (cash bar). At 3:30 p.m. attendees will toast the couple followed by introductions and a bridal fashion show. Dinner begins at 4 p.m., with the first dance and open dancing taking place at 5 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. is the cutting of the wedding cake and the bouquet toss followed by more open dancing. (Please note: All times are approximate.) Brides are encouraged to bring along their grooms, mothers, wedding party members and other friends.
Crash My Wedding was conceptualized by Easton-based photographer Greg Panto, owner of G&K Photography. Along with hosting the event, Panto will photograph it to showcase his own services and will then post the photos to his web site at www.gandkphotography.com.

Advance tickets to Crash My Wedding are $27 per person and include dinner and presentations by wedding professionals. The discounted rate is available through Wednesday, May 18. After this date tickets will be available at the door only the day of the event for $40 per person. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
